Board of Trustee Applications Due March 18

Fifty years ago our Fraternity leadership created the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation with a purpose of impacting lives. We are thankful for all of our leaders who have led the organization to the awarding of over $10,000,000 back to our sisters and our communities.

This time each year the Foundation conducts its regular election procedures, seeking sisters interested in advancing the Foundation’s mission through service on the Board of Trustees.

Current terms of service expire June 30, 2013 for myself, as well as Estacia (Staci) Medlen Brandenburg and Patricia Tulley Riddiford. Both Pat and Staci have agreed to stand for re-election. After wonderful years of service on the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation Board of Trustees, including service as President, my time on the board has concluded. Thus, there will be a vacancy on the board.

Trustees serve two-year terms, and may serve up to four consecutive terms. They are responsible for fundraising, policy development, financial oversight, and the granting of Foundation funds.

Applications and nominations are due to the Foundation office by 5:00 p.m. EST, March 18, 2013. The Board Development Committee reviews the nominations and presents a ballot to the Foundation Trustees for Trustee voting.
